We are at 9601 Henderson Road in Brighton – right in front of the Riverdale Regional Park & Fairgrounds. Our business hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

(Hours are subject to change at any time, call ahead!)

Admittance to the History Museum building is free; however, we do recommend calling ahead to ensure the building is opened -- sometimes it is closed if staff is working in another area. Also, groups of 5 or more are required to call ahead. 303-659-7103.

To tour the other eight buildings, the cost is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 12 and younger. You must be on a guided tour to go in the other buildings. Tours are generally at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and reservations are encouraged (we can't guarantee tours are available without reservations). Please allow 60-90 minutes for the tour.

Everyone is encouraged to call ahead before coming out so we can ensure a museum representative or a guide is available. Please also call ahead during or after heavy snowfall to be sure we are open and able to give tours.

2020 Closures: The museum will be closed from Dec. 21, 2019, through Jan. 6, 2020. We will also be closed Saturday, May 23, and Saturday, July 4. We may also close at any time of the year due to private events -- please call ahead!
