In Memory of Gloria Cundall

I was informed today that Gloria Cundall has passed away from a sudden illness. Gloria was a volunteer, organizational partner, and friend of ACHS for many years, and ran the Good Luck 4-H Club at the Adams County Fairgrounds. She rented the Good Luck 4-H building to ACHS for our craft shows. She served on the Tea Committee, providing us with volunteers for the teas. At our cultural events, Gloria, a former schoolteacher, volunteered as a docent at our Prairie Rose School, giving visitors a view into life at a one-room schoolhouse.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, April 4, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Taylor Rice Funeral Home. The address is 75 S. 13th Ave. in Brighton.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 5, at the Shrine of St. Anne's Catholic Church at 11 AM. The address is 7555 S. Grant Pl. in Arvada. The burial will be held later that day at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 12801 W 44th Ave. in Wheat Ridge.

A reception will be held later on Friday, April 5 at the Good Luck 4-H building at Riverdale Regional Park.

Our annual Book Sale will run from February through March of 2024. Most books are just one dollar. Proceeds from the book sale benefit the Adams County Historical Society.
