Sanitary Deli Scale

On display is a Sanitary Deli Scale from the 1940s, that was made by the Sanitary Scale Company in Belvidere, Illinois. These scales were commonly used in grocery stores and delis for weighing items like meats, produce, and other goods. This features a white porcelain enamel over a cast iron construction, with a tray for weighing items and a window for displaying the weight.
